Summary

Robotic process automation (RPA) becomes a critical aspect to be included in most modern systems and networks to enhance cybersecurity by automating simple tasks, integrating workflows, and improving incident response. This chapter provides a study of the concept of RPA to implement its various dimensions of network security, such as access control and identity management data protection, compliance, and threat intelligence. The chapter also elaborates on the challenges and constraints posed for RPA adoption in network security in terms of integration and adaptability to dynamic, evolving cyber threats. Integrating AI into RPA promises to create adaptive intelligent and proactive security automation systems better suited for AI- driven RPA- the next frontier in cybersecurity. Features like predictive threat detection, real- time response, and enhanced compliance add an exciting dimension to cybersecurity. And so, the chapter ends with the call for further innovation in the face of very changing threats to cybersecurity.
