Summary
This study undertakes a topic modelling-based approach to identify how businesses are transforming with digital platforms. The corpus for this study comprises of high-quality research contributions in digital business platforms (DBPs). The study describes 6 different topic models with respective optimization techniques to better identify semantically coherent topics.
Based on a thorough analysis of the topic keywords subjective topic labels were assigned. The recent contributions heavily bank on the structure of DBPs and potential outlets in different industries. Healthcare and Insurance were prominent industries in the extracted topics. Much scope is left to explore the competitive structure and regulatory aspects of DBPs.
