Summary

Green innovation (GI) is acknowledged as a major driver of economic expansion, environmental sustainability, and standard of living. GI has the ability to overcome the dilemma among intense existing resources and saving them for upcoming generations, creating it a suitable instrument for organizations aiming to increase a competitive advantage while also endorsing sustainable development. A subset of sustainable innovation, which incorporates social, economic, and environmental aspects, is GI. For enterprises and society as a whole, GI is essential to maintaining environmental protection. Nonetheless, there aren’t many studies that thoroughly analyze the current framework and potential directions of GI research as a business resource. In this paper, we analyzed and derived results from 10,197 publications that were obtained from the Scopus database between 1996 and 2024 using the bibliometric analysis approach. In order to give academicians and managers a methodical understanding of the different applications and expansion of GI, this research intends to scrutinize the current literature, statistics, and concepts. The various definition of GI is collected and analyzed and presented in the table in the literature review section. The aim of the existing study is to use the Bibliometric R-package to provide a thorough understanding of GI.
