Summary

The social intelligence (SI) literature has grown significantly in recent years; yet it remains highly variegated. This article identifies the intellectual structure, publishing pattern, dimensions and sub-dimension/options of the existing literature on SI. Bibliometric and morphological analyses were used.

Bibliometric analysis utilized VOSviewer. Based on an extensive literature review, a framework describing SI literature dimensions and alternatives was created. The bibliometric research gives information on top authors, organizations and nations, as well as notable papers and popular themes.

Morphological analysis estimates 7 dimensions and 25 options to determine research gaps. Future SI researchers may find this article insightful.
